Bio

Ronnie Loaiza began her broadcasting career when the Berlin Wall came down. Fresh out of college, she was living in Paris, France, learning French, and writing for a British magazine. The ongoing protests in Eastern Europe was stirring emotions across the continent. When finally, crowds began gathering at the Berlin Wall, everyone knew this time... something was going to happen. Ronnie knew American news organizations would be dispatching the nearest crews from Paris. She ran to the CBS News bureau. Indeed the crews had left. One man was answering a million phone calls. She offered to help. A few months later, Ronnie was still there  working freelance for CBS News.
